LEARNING UNITS

We will be posting what we like to call “Units” here, that started with our old Radio Show (coming soon to the website), but can be found now on our old site, “Sounds-of-Seismology”. These are exercises in comparative listening to earthquakes that have some aspects in common and some differences.. We try to use the sound to illuminate those differences– or explain the differences in the sound by the differences in as few aspects of the events as possible, for example, “Depth”, where all other aspects are similar (location, magnitude, orientation, etc).
